Due to budget constraints, the Larimer County Department of Human Services will implement changes to the Child Care Assistance Program effective Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024. These changes will impact both child care providers and families currently participating in the program. The current CCAP enrollment freeze will also continue.
Help is hard to ask for, but we all need a helping hand at some point in our lives. Larimer County Human Services offers a variety of benefits to assist individuals and families in our community. We offer food, cash, medical, or child care assistance as well as other specialized programs. See below for more information on each of our benefit areas.
Eligibility for public assistance benefits is determined by federally set income limits. To see if you may be eligible, or to check your current benefits, visit Colorado PEAK. Our in-person services are limited to paperwork drop off and questions, no in-person interviews are being held in-person at this time. If you have a question that can't be answered by PEAK, call us at (970) 498-6300. Our phone operation hours are Monday through Friday from 8a-5p.
We provide opportunities for all members of our community to be healthy and self-sufficient by processing timely and accurate benefits and providing applicable resource referrals.
